Directors and/or Management should regularly review changes in your business

 Few workplaces stay the same.

Sooner or later you will need new equipment, revise your procedures, change the premises layouts, extend or rationalise buildings, increase staff etc. These changes will bring with them a need to look again at what you do and/or how.

It makes sense therefore, to review what you are doing on an ongoing basis. Probably annually, you need to formally review where you are, to make sure you are still improving, or at least that there are no worsening conditions.

You will need to consider things such as;

  • Have there been any changes, what are they, what do they affect
  • Are there any issues still outstanding for action
  • Is your training up to date, is it still appropriate
  • Are your systems properly tested and maintained
  • What is the overall effect on risk

When you are running a business it’s all too easy to forget about reviewing your risk assessment.

RAMIS can be programmed to ensure that this does not happen. It also provides a facility for periodic review to ensure that if there are significant changes (or if they are planned) then your risk assessments are reviewed also.

However you determine you will carry out the review process, contact us and we will show you how we can help you do that.Go back to the RAMIS pageNext step in the RAMIS process
